Leadership First Things

first things first

When you wake and before your day starts:

  1. Pray with Gratitude
  2. Partake of a devotion
  3. Prioritize the day’s activities (this can be done the previous evening).
  4. Plan your dreams and goals while you exercise (just walk briskly for 20 minutes at home or work).
  5. Place worry aside and do not be anxious. This can be difficult, but you don’t want to make impulsive decisions.

In all of this, find a quiet and solitary place. Seek the Lord in the stillness of everything and commit the days affairs to God. Leave it in His hands!

Finally, as you practice these first things at your own schedule, you will find yourself sharper and more satisfied in life and work.
