We know many of you are concerned about the spread of COVID-19 ( the new coronavirus) and how it may impact us here. Ensuring residents are cared for in a safe and healthy environment is our first priority. At this time there are no suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 at our facilities. However, out of an abundance of caution and under the guidelines from Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), we are temporarily restricting ALL Routine social visits and limiting visits to rare circumstances, such as immediate family members in end-of-life situations or when it is medically necessary for our residents.
If you feel as though your visit meets the above guidelines you will be screened using the criteria below. If one or more of these criteria are met, you will not be allowed to enter the resident area. All visitors allowed to visit must perform hand hygiene with soap and water or hand sanitizer.
- Have you traveled internationally within the last 14 days to a restricted country?
- Have you been on a cruise or in another setting with confined crowds in the last 14 days?
- Do you have any signs or symptoms of a respiratory infection such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
- Have you had contact with someone with or under investigation for COVID-19?
We understand that connecting with your loved ones is incredibly important, and there are a variety of other ways you might consider communicating with them. These may include telephone, email, text, video chat, Skype, Facetime or social media. If you believe a visit to the center is necessary and would like to make special arrangements, please contact the Administrator.
Should you have any questions, please feel to contact the facility Administrator.
