Restorative Nursing Assistant
The primary purpose of this position is to carry out restorative nursing functions to ensure that the resident is able to increase or maintain their highest possible functioning level while in the care.
This position reports directly to the Restorative Nurse.
Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
· Provide direct restorative care. Delegate formalized therapy tasks. Participate in all aspects of restorative care programming and facilitating such programs (i.e., range of motion, walking, etc.). Assisting Restorative Nurse with the Bowl/Bladder Program. Participate in QA programs. Understand the phases of rehabilitation and restorative nursing program.
· Follow appropriate charting/documentation procedures. Provide a list of the resident on restorative programs. Follow the plan of care directives. Document provision of services and minutes on designated forms.
