Dietary Aide

The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the daily functions of the Dietary Department and to maintain a clean, safe work environment for all resident meals.

This position reports directly to the Dietary Manager.

Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Providing assistance with residents’ daily meals such as preparation and portioning food items
• Following recipes/menus
• Tray set-ups
• Delivering meals
• Putting away stock
• Washing/storing cooking utensils
• Bussing tables
• Cleaning dining room
• Sweeping/mopping kitchen/dining areas

• Prefer experience in a nursing home setting but will consider all applications.
